Karen Moffatt (nee Ross) R.N. of Charlottetown, died peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Saturday, September 9, 2017. Beloved wife and best friend of Robert “Bob” Moffatt for 51 years. Loving mother to Dr. Susan Moffatt-Bruce (Nigel) and Ross Moffatt. Dearest Nana to Emily and Sarah Bruce. Aunt to Dr. Kathy Baxter and Allyson, Robert and Bruce (Kelly) Dye. Predeceased by her parents Thelma and Gordon Ross of Glace Bay, N.S. and sister Kathryn (Malcolm) Baxter. Proud registered nurse and dedicated educator for over 54 years. She enjoyed dressing with flair, travelling, gardening and spending time at Bayberry Hill, Stanley Bridge, P.E.I. An active member of Charlottetown Probus and St. Paul’s Church. Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral service Thursday from St. Paul’s Anglican Church at 10 a.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery.
