Passed peacefully away at St Patrick's Mercy Home, in the presence of his loving family, on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at age 90. Predeceased by his brother Edward and sisters: Alicia Walters and Betty LeGrow. Leaving to mourn his wife Audrey and son Calvin (Iris); grandchildren: Leslie Cook, Stephen Blackwood (Marsha), and Jill Blackwood (Patrick); great-grandchildren: Joshua Cook, Julie and Jessie Blackwood, and Julianne Sanscartier; also other nephews, nieces and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mt. Pearl, on Monday and Tuesday, April 18th and 19th , from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Wednesday, April 20th at 2 p.m. Interment to take place at later date. Flowers accepted or donations in his memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
