Laura Marion Pine

Laura Marion Pine, of Sydney, passed away Friday September 15, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Louisbourg, she was the daughter of Olive (Levy) MacInnis and the late Alex Bagnell.
Laura worked as a Sales Clerk, as an interpreter and dressed in costume at the Fortress of Louisbourg. She was an active long time member of the Sydney Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Laura is survived by her husband, Alfred; sister, Florence (Bernie) MacNeil, Westmount; sister-in-law, Shirley MacInnis, Sydney Forks; brothers, Murray (Sandy) Bagnell, Summerside, PEI, Daniel (Velma) MacInnis, Sydney, Walter (Laura) MacInnis, Barry, ON, and Murdock MacInnis, Arichat, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Clarence MacInnis.

Visitation will be held Monday September 18, from 6-8 p.m. at Sydney Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall, 786 Alexandra St., Sydney, with Mr. Denis Gervais officiating. Interment in Willow Grove Cemetery, Louisbourg.
