Frotten, Anna Mabel, 86 ,Yarmouth passed away September 18,2017 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Wedgeport she was the daughter of the late Albany and Adeline ( Fitzgerald) Pothier. Anna was an avid quilter, she loved to knit hats, mittens and socks, and if you ask any of her grandchildren they were always prepared for cooler weather. She is survived by Son James ( Laurianne) , Plymouth; daughters Christine ( Hubert) Muise, Abrams River; Dianne (Brian) Doucette, Deerfield; brother Louis, Surette’s Island; sisters Sylvia Jacquard, South Ohio; Roseanne Hewson, Ontario; Betty (Clifford) Cottreau, Wedgeport; sisters in law Marion Pothier; Evelyn Clements; Laura Frotten; grandchildren Jason (Fran Bamford) Muise ; Jamie (Georgette) Frotten; Tanya (Steve Johnson) Frotten; Sarah (Andrew Pham) Doucette; Jeremy (Jason Singler) Doucette; step grandson Garnet (Joy) Muise; Great grandchildren Connor, Noah, Keegan, Zoe, Drew and Mya. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband J. Leon Frotten ; brothers John; Edmond; Wilfred; Benny; sisters Lena; Theresa; Georgine. There was a visitation Wednesday, September 20, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 am from Sweenys Funeral Home. Funeral mass followed at 11am from the St. Ambrose Cathedral, Father Henry Smolenaars officiating. Interment in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Gilles Boudreau and friends Cancer Help fund.
