The death occurred at the Community Hospital, O’Leary on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 of Allen Cooke of Cape Wolf, aged 65 years, beloved husband of Mary (Smallman). Born in O’Leary on May 31, 1952, he was the son of the late Victor and Abbie (Easter) Cooke. Loving father to Gayle (Doug) Mallett, Piusville; Vicki (Greg) Bridges, Springfield West; John Allen (Amanda) Cooke, Stratford; Allie (Jeremy) Wallace, Cape Wolfe and Emily (Jeremy) Arsenault, Alberton. Dear grandpa to 13 grandchildren. Allen is also survived by his sister Mary (Shelton) Barlow; brother Floyd (Betty) Cook; and many brothers and sisters in law. Predeceased by his parents, mother and father in law Jack & Allie Smallman, brother in law Lorne Smallman, nephews Colin Bridges and Adrian Smallman. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visitation on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Sunday in the Chapel at 3 p.m. Interment will follow in Cape Wolfe United Church Cemetery.
