Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, September 22, 2017 of Leonard William Syvret of Charlottetown age 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Roma (nee Lund) Syvret and dear father of Crystal Sherry (Charlie), Lindsey Cameron (Donnie), Gina Syvret (Tim Kelly) and Lance Syvret (Pam). Loving Poppy of Robyn (Chad McCormack), Neil Sherry, Laura Sherry (Travis Roach), Melissa Cameron (Nick Abourisk), Bobby Cameron (Lucas Panizzi-Bregles), Parker Kelly, Grace Kelly, Hunter Syvret (Myah McAdam-Young), Jazlyn Syvret and Great Poppy to Abigayle, Nevaeh, Charleigh and Eldon. Leonard will also be sadly missed by special niece Rita Syvret and her family and special friend Glenn Roberts. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 27th at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Family flowers only. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Dialysis Unit, the Canadian Cancer Society (PEI Division) or the PEI Humane Society.
