Harold James MacCrimmon, 73, passed peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital, Saturday September 23, 2017, lovingly supported by his family. Harold leaves behind his wife Janet (nee Vallance) of 36 years. Children Sarah (Austin Wood) of Ymir, B.C. and Roderick of Wembley, AB. As well as his sister Barbara McCormick (Ron) of Ottawa. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and their extended families also mourn his passing. Harold was predeceased by his parents James and Sarabel MacCrimmon(nee MacLeod); sisters Catherine McIlwain(George) and Elizabeth Barton (Barry) and brother Lloyd. A Graveside Service and burial will take place in the Kenyon Presbyterian cemetery, Dunvegan on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11 am. A happy, passionate man, Harold always had time for one more game, one more neighbourly visit, one more dance, one more crop tour. So join us for a Celebration of Life at the Dunvegan Pioneer Museum grounds on Friday September 29, 2017 from 1 to 3:30 pm. Memorial Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Canadian Cancer Society, Kenyon Presbyterian Church or the Ottawa General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
