Peacefully with his family by his side at the Provincial Palliative Care Centre on Monday, October 2, 2017 of Reginald James "Buddy" Corrigan of Stratford age 74 years. A well known Charlottetown area taxi driver, Mr. Corrigan was the longest serving driver at City Taxi, driving from 1974 until June of this year. He was known to be one of the most gentle, courteous and friendly drivers. He took great pride in his work and cleaned his car every day making sure it was always neat and respectable for his customers. Beloved husband of Linda and dear stepfather of Wade MacFadyen. Brother of Joe (Rita), Edwin (Susan), Louis (Wendy deceased). Brother-in-law of Mary Lee Corrigan and John McCaughey. Half brother of Frank (Mary) Kelly. He was predeceased by his parents James and Helen (Kelly) Corrigan,brother Allan, sister Helen McCaughey, brother Patrick and sister Mary in infancy. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Friday, then transferred to St. Patrick’s Church, Fort Augustus for funeral mass at 10:30. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the PEI Cancer Treatment Centre.
