EILEEN HENSON
1927 – 2017
Eileen Henson, late of Mont St. Joseph Home, passed away at Victoria Hospital on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the age of 90 years, with her children by her side. She was born on Tuesday, March 15, 1927 at home on the farm; the youngest of four children to Dave Warner and Jennie Graham. After finishing her education, she moved to Prince Albert where she went to business college. She worked at various jobs throughout her life, starting with the box factory, land titles, the jail, the penitentiary, and a law office, as well as SGI. She met Wilf Henson at a dance in the summer of 1947 and they were married June 5, 1948. She was the proud mother of five children and grandmother of eleven, as well as seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers, George, Leonard and Orville Warner; and her husband, Wilf. She is survived by her children, Muriel Hamlyn, Diane Randall (Garnet), Barbara Wiberg, Dave Henson (Kim) and Scott Henson (Heather); eleven grandchildren, Jason Berge, Devon Berge, Cole Berge, Chad Berge, Leah Robinson, Dani Henson, Sean Henson, Callum Henson, Fiona, Isla Rose and Graeme Henson; and seven great-grandchildren, Emaliah, Esra, Evie, Liv, Emerie, Sol and Adao. A Celebration of Eileen’s Life will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at River Park Memorial Chapel, Deacon Eldon Danielson officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of River Park Funeral Home, Don Moriarty, Funeral Director.
