It is with great sadness that the family of the late Beatrice Stella Payne announce her passing on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 75 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons: Dean (Donnie), Harvey (Jennine) and Pleman (Lorna); daughters: Penney (Sheila) and Twila (Rick), grandchildren: Kayla, Katlin, Judy, Devon, Candace, Jenny, Janet, Anna, Brandon, and Brittany, great-grandchildren: Jenica, Somer, Isabella, Ella, Jacob, Denvyr and Delilah; sisters: Nina and Katherine (Levi); brothers: Neville and Eric; sisters-in-law Madeline, Josie, Una (Robert), Verna (Arthur), Wanda (Ivan), Vida (Larry), Dallas, Tania and Thelma; brothers-in-law: Melvin (Shirley), Warrick (Audrey), Bernard (Yvonne), Ira (Maxine) and Randy (Connie); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Special mention to Ashley, Adam, Nathan, Jackson, Noah, Brayden and Kamdyn. She was predeceased by her husband Edgar, sons Stephen and Floyd, Parents Albert and Alvina Wells, brothers Wilbur (Alfreda), Noble (Virginia), Gilbert and Lloyd, sisters Verna Bailey, Sylvia Deamone and Marcy Wells, parents-in-law Stephen and Lillian Payne, sisters-in-law Elizabeth Anne, Bonnie and Margaret, brothers-in-law Edward, Stedman, Alpheus, Floyd, Abby, Jack Woodland, William Cox, Paul White and William Noseworthy. Friends may visit St. Nicholas' Anglican Church in Cox's Cove on Thursday and Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mario P. Melendez officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Cox's Cove. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted o donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
