It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eric Leslie Hatcher announce his passing on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Anne Marie Brown (Harold), Catherine Kelly, Paul Hatcher (Ava) and Gerard Hatcher (Marie); grandchildren: Ryan, Laura, Matthew, Erin, Jessica, Claire, Catharine and Ben; brother Joseph Hatcher; sister Faith Colley; brothers-in-law: George Kendall, Tom Brennan and James Brennan; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Genevieve, parents Joseph and Annie Hatcher, brothers and sisters George Hatcher, Hazel Maynard, Wallace Hatcher, Edna Gilley, Alice Parsons, Thomas Hatcher, Florence Kendall and Hillary Hatcher. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. from the Cathedral of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mount Bernard Avenue with Father Edward Terry officiating. Cremation to follow with interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
