MURPHY, Hector - Mr. Hector Hormidas Murphy passed away on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Cornwall Hospice, age 83 years. Beloved husband of Germaine (née Lavigne) Murphy. Loving father of Joanne Murphy-Eystad (John), Michel, Julie McAllister (Sean) and Steven (Petra). Cherished grandfather of Jessica, Jennifer, Andrea, Elise and Madelyn. Dear brother of Orval. Predeceased by his parents Dollard and Albina (née Cousineau) Murphy and one sibling Patrick (husband of Angele). Resting at the WILSON FUNERAL HOME - BOULERICE CENTRE, 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall where visitation will be held on Friday from 7 - 9 PM. The Mass of Resurrection Commendation and Farwell will be celebrated in Nativity Co-Cathedral on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 10:15 AM. Rite of Committal to follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
