The death occurred, surrounded by her family, at the Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary on Friday, October 6, 2017 of Alberta Linnie Waite, of O’Leary, aged 60. Alberta was born in O’Leary on September 18, 1957, dear daughter of Daisy Waite (nee Brooks), O`Leary and the late Percy Waite. Cherished mother to Bobby, Calgary; Kenny, O’Leary; Joey, O`Leary and Andy (Kelsey), Calgary. Loving grandmother to Austin, Sara, Morgan, Ethan and special little man Easton Grigg, who Alberta took care of. Alberta will also be sadly missed by her sisters and brothers Lillian (Clayton) Harris, Knutsford, Thelma (Emery) Dryden, Middleton, Virginia (Kevin) Dunville, Alberton; Raeford, Hunter River; Karry (Garth) Perry, Charlottetown; Joyce (Mark) Bulger, Miscouche; Esther (Rodney) MacWilliam, O’Leary; her Aunts Carrie Silliker, O’Leary; Myra Wilkie, Alberton and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Alberta was predeceased by her father, daughters Jeannie and Susan. Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held on Thursday in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow in the Bloomfield United Cemetery.
