Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Health Science Centre, Leeland Rodway, age 92 years. Predeceased by his parents: Ernest & Evelyn; son: Kevin and son-in-law: Sarab Missan. Leaving to mourn his devoted wife of 68 years: Effie; children: Judy Dicks (Kevin) and Joyce Rodway; grandchildren: Tammy Austin (Monty), Heather Eddy (David), David Gale (Angela) and Jonathan Gale (Trudy); great-grandchildren: Evan, Jared, Hailey, Brady, Caleb and Cassidy; siblings: Ruby Loder, Harold Rodway (Violet), Walter Rodway (Emma), Ralph Rodway and Albert Rodway. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 with visitations from 7pm-9pm and Wednesday and October 11th from 10am-12pm, funeral service to follow at 2pm. Inurnment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leeland's memory may be made to the SPCA, St. John's.
