The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, October 5, 2017, of James Gardiner Pillman, of Summerside and formerly of Brampton, ON, aged 90 years. Born in Summerside, he was the son of the late William and Annie (Gardiner) Pillman and stepson of the late Benjamin Pillman. Survived by his sons Blake (Christine) and Darcy Pillman; grandchildren Ryan Pillman and Brittany Fletcher; brother Francis Pillman; nephew Garth (Sharon) Silliker; and by nieces Georgie Silliker and Marla MacDonald. Predeceased by his wife Marie (Kennedy) Pillman and by a sister Vivian Silliker. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to St. John’s Anglican Church, St. Eleanors, for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment later in Brampton Memorial Gardens, Brampton, ON.
