Passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, Olive Martin of Harbour Grace, age 92 years. Predeceased by son: Melvin; parents: Nicholas and Helen Parsons; sister: Gladys Thompson; daughter-in-law: Peggy Martin. Left to mourn, husband: Alexander; one daughter: Audrey (Jim) McDonald, CBS; four sons: Basil, Frank (Bertha), and Rick, all of Harbour Grace, and Terry, Cambridge, ON; nine grandchildren: Lisa, Tammy, Michelle, David, Corey, Jason, Chris, Michael, and Alex; a number of great-grandchildren; niece: Cindy Engel, New York, USA; caregiver: Karen Mansfield, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Rev. Moses Tucker conducted the Funeral Service on Saturday, October 14 from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Inurnment took place in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace on Monday, October 16.
