It is with great sadness that the family of the late Theodore Bennett announce his passing on Oct. 17, 2017 at the WMRH Corner Brook at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond memories his wife, Mary, of 62 years; daughter Genevieve Hobbs (Jim); sons Ted (Helen), Wayne (Donna), Sean and Darrell (Trudy); grandchildren Mark (Sharon Anderson), Aaron (Jennifer), Adriana Sacrey (Terry), Alicia Hodder (Bernard), Ashley Norman (Ryan), Ryan (Melissa Evoy), Brady, Ashley Diamond and Tamara Anstey; great-grandchildren Ryan, Benjamin Hodder, and Sophie Norman. Brother Tony Bennett (Gail); sister Joan McLeod (Sid); sisters-in-law Paula Bennett, Eunice Drover (Jim); Louise Burton, Laura Hillier (Jim); brother-in-law Ralph Gillingham (Clara) also numerous nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his parents Douglas and Genevieve (Gallant) Bennett; sister Selena; brothers Joseph, Bernard, Donald and William (Buck). Granting his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal visitation. The funeral service will take place on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at 2 pm from the Most Holy Redeemer Roman Catholic Cathedral, Mt. Bernard Avenue with Father Andrew White officiating. Interment to follow at a late date. A special thank you for the wonderful care given to Theodore by Dr. Coleman and all the staff of 3A in the WMRH Corner Brook.
