It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lindsay Theodore Scott announce his passing on Tuesday, October 17 at the age of 62 years. He was the son of the late Winter Scott and the late Leah Jane Walters.
He was predeceased by his brother Thomas Scott, his sisters Belinda (Clem) Organ, Edith Harvey, Susanna (Benjamin) Wells, his father and mother in-laws Charles and Lorena Anderson, his brother-in-law Ralph Francis, and his sister-in-laws Elaine White and Ada Billard.
He leaves behind to mourn with fond memories his loving partner of 43 years, Dorothy Anderson of Isle aux Morts, his son Darren Scott of Isle aux Morts, his brothers Austin (Lucy) Billard of Isle aux Mort, Johnny Billard of Port aux Basques, Bill (Golda) Scott of Isle aux Morts, Alfred (Lori) Scott of St. Catharine's ON, Eric (Daphne) Scott of Isle aux Morts, and Gary (Wilma) Scott of Burnt Islands, his sisters Elizabeth Francis of Isle aux Morts, and Annabelle (Calvin) Warren of Cape Ray, his brother-in-laws Johnny Anderson of Port aux Basques, Jim (Gladys) Anderson of Pictou NS, Terry (Vanda) Anderson of Port aux Basques, and Russell Harvey of Port aux Basques, his sister-in-laws, Gertrude Scott of Dartmouth NS, Debbie (Mickey) Anderson of Burnt Islands, and Charlene (Dwight) Kettle of Port aux Basques, his aunts Marina (Tom) Benoit of HRM NS, Jessie Sharp of HRM NS, Roseabelle Lebrech of HRM NS, his grandchildren Keegan, Kalan, Kaitlyn, and Natalie, as well as a large circle of aunts, nephews, nieces, and many friends.
Lindsay's family will be receiving guests on Thursday, October 19 and Friday, October 20 from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm at Holy Spirit Church in Isle aux Morts. A funeral service to celebrate Lindsay's life will take place on Saturday, October 21 at 2 pm at Holy Spirit Church in Isle aux Morts, officiated by Rev. Mary Rose, with interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery in Isle aux Morts. Donations made in memory of Lindsay can be made to a charity of one's choice.
