Peacefully, at Whisperwood Villa, Charlottetown, on Friday, October 20, 2017, of Lorna Ruth Johnston, formerly of Granville Street, Summerside, aged 92 years. Born in Darnley, she was the daughter of the late James and Lauretta (Pickering) Woodside. Survived by her daughter Elizabeth “Betty” Johnston, Brackley; nephew, Edwin (Margaret) Simmons; and by other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Keith; son James; sister Annie Ellen (Fulton) Simmons; parents-in-law Hilbert (Christine) Johnston; and by a sister-in-law Kathleen (Sherman) Parlee. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Tuesday, then to the Summerside Presbyterian Church, for funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside.
