Passed peacefully away at Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor in Clarenville on Monday, October 23, 2017, Minnie Jacobs of Clarenville in her 88th year. Predeceased by husband Raymond; brothers Victor and Adam; sister Carrie; sister-in-law Glenys. Left with fond and loving memories her children David (Cora), Victor (Margaret), Ivy (Eddie), Austin, Byron (Mary), Juanita Jeanetta, Sheila (Allister) and Kevin (Michelle); 19 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; brother George Green; brother-in-law Alonzo Smith; sisters-in-law Shirley Green and Letta Green; her church family; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Salvation Army Citadel, Clarenville with interment at Pleasant Street Cemetery, Clarenville. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Salvation Army International Child Sponsorship or Alzheimer’s Society.
