It is with deep sadness that the family of Louis Joseph McIver announce his passing on October 25, 2017 in Summerside at the age of 82 years. Born in Newton, Prince Edward Island, he was the son of the late Hugh John and Mary (McCloskey) McIver. Survived by his devoted wife, Joyce (Callaghan) McIver, his children and step-children, James (Pel-Syuan), Victoria, and Robbie (Petrina Huang), Glenda (Ian) Rodd and Cindy Rodgerson; and his brothers and sisters Mary (Emerson) Brooks, Edward (Blanche) McIver, Maureen McIver, Charles McIver, Pearl (Pat) Flood, Linus (Diana) McIver and Rita (Russell) Lea; sister-in-law Margaret (McIver) Hughes and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his step-mothers, Mary Morris and Mary Coady; brothers St. Clair, Fr. Gerard and Hugh McIver; special cousins Arnie and Ronnie McIver; niece Patricia McIver and nephew Paul McIver.
