Passed peacefully away after a brief illness at the Health Science Centre on Wednesday, November 1, at the age of 83 years. Predeceased by her brother Jack and sister Ruby. Leaving to mourn with loving memories her husband and best friend of 60 years, Wallace, her children Neville (Marilyn), Marina Gillam (Gerald) and Perry (Rosiland), her cherished grandchildren Jamie, Jennifer, Jillian, Shane, Brittany, Danielle, Natasha and Michael, great-grandchildren Brooklyn and Julia, and sisters Dorothy and Ethel, as well as numerous other family members and friends. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Health Science Centre as well as the staff at Tiffany Village where she has resided for the past year. Cremation has taken place. Family will receive visitors on Friday, November 3, from 2-9 p.m. at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 4, at 2 p.m. at Carnell Memorial Chapel. Donations in her memory may be made to the Carmanville United Church or to a charity of one's choice.
