The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, of Erma Arsenault, of Summerside, aged 89 years. Born in Miscouche, she was the daughter of the late Percy and Julia (DesRoches) Steele. Survived by her children Pam (Kevin) Conrad, Karen (John) Vriends, Jimmy (Shelley) Arsenault, Sharon (Gerry) Bernard, Ann (Rob) Cheverie and Ernie (Zandra) Arsenault; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a sister, Anne (Mait) MacIsaac; brothers, Peter Steele and Roy (Donna) Steele; and by sisters-in-law Maureen Steele; Evelyn “Bobby” Kelly and Theresa Arsenault. Predeceased by her first husband Hubert Gallant; second husband Austin Arsenault; sons Brian and Wayne “Bucky” Gallant; and by brothers Percy and Gerald Steele. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Monday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside.
