With saddened heart we are announcing the passing of a loving sister, aunt and friend. Anita, age 63, peacefully passed away on Thursday, November 02, 2017, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Marg (McIntyre) Graham.
Anita worked as a social worker spending most of her career between Calgary and Halifax, always looking forward to returning to her family home in Glace Bay.
She is survived by two sisters, Paula (Ken) Rayner, Donna (John) Curtis and a brother, Ken (Lynn) Graham. She was a terrific aunt to her many nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed.
Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by a sister, Leone Campbell.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of V.J.McGillivray Funeral Home, 16 Reserve St., Glace Bay.
A memorial service celebrating Anita’s life will be held at a later date in the funeral home chapel.
