Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, on November 2nd, 2017, Audrey Elizabeth Green, RN, (nee Downing), aged 97 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Edward (Ted) Green, parents James and Elizabeth Downing, sister Eileen Thistle and brother Sidney Downing. Left with fond and loving memories her loving son David; daughter Elizabeth Green (Glenn Hamlyn); grandchildren Christina, Robert (Angela), Allison, and Joanna; great-grandchildren Audrey and Eliza; sister Joan Downing; niece Elizabeth (Jack) Glover; and a large circle of other family and special friends. Audrey graduated as an RN from the Homoeopathic Hospital, in Montreal, nursing class of 1945. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. The family will receive visitors on Monday, November 6th, 2017 from 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, November 7th, 2017 at 2 p.m, with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
