We, the family of Sara (MacKay) Bishop, 58, regret to announce her passing on Sunday, November 5, 2017, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Sydney Mines on November 15, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Urenia (Pinksten) MacKay.
She is survived by her son, Jeremy Bishop; sister, Lauretta (Ira) Balderson, PEI; her aunt, Jean (Don) Crouse, Sydney Mines; Jeremy’s father, Jerome, Seaview Drive; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Sara was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Billy Johnston.
There will be no visitation. A private family service will be held at a later date.
