Passed peacefully away on Nov. 6, 2017 at Agnes Pratt Nursing Home, St. John's, NL, Georgina Robertson Fry (nee Easton at Brechin, Scotland), age 94. Predeceased by parents, Smith and Isabella Easton and husband, Jocob Fry. Leaving to mourn four loving sons: Cyril (Joyce), Kingston ON, Robert (Jessie), Benton NL, Sid (Vera), St. John's NL, and Charles (Betty), Calgary AB; six adoring grandchildren: Kathy, Robin, Jason, Stephanie, Jennifer and Alison; 9 great-grandchildren, as well as 2 great-great-grandchildren. Special thanks to the Agnes Pratt staff for their kindness and the wonderful care given to mother over the past eighteen years. Mom came to Canada as a Scottish War Bride in 1945. While she made NL her home since that time, she never forgot her roots. She was a wonderful, hard working mother with a marvelous sense of humour, right to the end. She taught us the importance of Faith, Family and Friends. She will be forever missed but never forgotten. A mother's love is a blessing! Visitation at the Stacey Funeral Home, Gander, NL, on Wednesday 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Services Thursday, November 9, 2017, 11:00am at the Salvation Army Citadel. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Gander. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army Band or The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
