INNIS, Wanda Marie -76, of River John, passed away November 6, 2017 in Gables Lodge, Amherst. Born in West Branch, she was a daughter of the late Russell George and Annie Mae (Bezanson) Holt. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who enjoyed time spent with her family. She also enjoyed her crafts, baking, preserves and quilting. Wanda is survived by her son, Michael, New Glasgow; grandchildren, Stephanie, Riley, Natasha, Jennifer, Victoria; and their mother, Roxanne; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Owen, Kenzie, Lucas, Kegan, Kadin, Kaylee, Lexus; brothers, Jack (Barb), West Branch; Stanley (Jean), Welsford; Donnie, West Branch; Eric (Jennie), Brule; sisters, Diane (Bob) MacKenzie, Black River and Betty Langille, Tatamagouche. She was predeceased by her son, Kelly; grandson, Brandon; brothers, Scotty and Jamie. Visitation will be held from 1-3 PM Thursday, with funeral to follow at 3PM in the McLaren Funeral Home Chapel, Pictou, with Rev. Charles McPherson officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Cemetery, River John. Donations in her memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
