SULLIVAN, Katherine Aileen -80, of High Crest Home, New Glasgow, and formerly of Pictou and Dartmouth, passed away November 6, 2017 in the St. Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish. Born in Isaac’s Harbour, she was a daughter of the late Wallace and Margaret (Fraser) Sullivan. Katherine trained as a nurse at the NS Hospital and finished her career there working in the lab. She enjoyed time spent with her nieces and nephews, and will be remembered for her dedication and time spent caring for others. She is survived by her sister, Carolyn (Bert) von Kalckreuth, Ridgeway, Ontario; sister-in-law, Barb, Dartmouth; nieces and nephews, great nephews; and longtime friend, Ruth Sutherland, Westville. She was predeceased by her brother, Fraser; sister, Marjorie and nephew, Robbie. There will be no visitation. Funeral will be held 11 AM Friday from McLaren Funeral Chapel, Pictou, with Michael Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Isaac’s Harbour United Baptist Cemetery.
