Vernetta Margaret (Mullins) HUDSON

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Vernetta’s passing on November 10, 2017 at Strait Richmond Hospital, Port Hawkesbury.
She is survived by her son, Dave (Isabelle), and their children and grandchildren; her late son Robert and Angela’s children and grandchildren; her sister, Lily, and her children and grandchildren; her brother, Art and wife, Pat. She is also survived by a special friend, John Steele.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald; her son, Robert, and her parents, Cecil and Daisy Mullins.
A special thank goes to the caregivers and nurses at Continuing Care, and the staff at Strait Richmond Hospital with a special recognition to Dr. Paul Pluta and Nurse Holly.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Patten’s Funeral Home, Glace Bay. Visitation will be Monday, November 13, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with funeral services to follow at Patten’s Chapel immediately after visitation at 4 p.m.
