We the family of Nan Gillis wish to express our sincere appreciation for the kindness and support shown to our family during our recent loss. Thank you to extended family, friends, neighbours, and coworkers for your sympathy, Mass cards, online condolences, flowers, memorial donations, and food brought to our homes. We are grateful to all who attended the wake and funeral, especially those who travelled a distance. A special thank you to Doctor Paul Murphy for his many years of care and compassion. Many thanks to the staff of Charlotte Street Pharmasave for their wonderful service. Thank you to Father Paul McGillivray, Father Norman MacPhee, and Father Fred Morley for the beautiful celebration of Mom’s life. Thanks to Larkyn Gillis and the choir, soloists Delores Hennick, Henrietta MacNeil, Leona MacNeil, and Phyllis MacEachern. We also want to express our appreciation to Donnie Campbell for his moving solo. To the pallbearers, honorary pallbearers, eucharistic ministers, altar servers, readers, and those who presented offertory gifts- a sincere thanks. A heartfelt thank you to all the grandchildren who presented Mom with her favorite flowers. Many thanks to the Ladies Aid of St. Margaret’s Parish for the beautiful meal following the Mass. Thank you to the staff of T.W. Curry, especially Bill Curry, for their professionalism and compassion during this time. To all those who helped in any way, we are eternally grateful.
