MacKay, C. Lillian “Lil”, 88, Truro, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 in Wynn Park Villa, Truro, Born in Truro, she was the daughter of the late Reg and Helen (Wark) Lockhart. Lillian was a former member of Valley United Church Choir, and a member of the Brunswick Street United Church Choir. She enjoyed bridge, knitting and other crafts.
She is survived by her daughter Jill McMullen (Jim), Debert; granddaughter Michelle (John); step-granddaughter Correna (Trevor) and son Cole; Half-sisters Betty-Lou Welland, Merna Murphy, Regina Cunningham; half-brother Gary Lockhart (Caroline); nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Jack MacKay; infant son John; sister Betty Wynn.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. No visitation by family request. A family graveside service will take place at a later date in Robie Street Cemetery Truro. Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice.
