Card of Thanks
Rita Finney
October 24, 2017

We, the family of the late Rita Finney, wish to express our sincere thanks to our family, relatives, friends, and neighbours for their love and support at this sad time. To those who visited my mom over the years while at home or at the Northside Guest Home we thank you all; my mom enjoyed your visits dearly. Thank you to those who came to the service, sent sympathy cards, Mass cards, sent flowers, donations to charities or other kind gestures it was all appreciated.
Thanks to Rev. Julio Martin, the choir under David Murray and the singing by Alan Gale. The homily was lovely and very fitting. Alan your rendition of mom’s favourite song: Will You Remember Me was beautiful. We thank Dave Archibald for reading a letter from moms adoring grandsons, Paul and Adam, who could not be there in body but were certainly there in Spirit. Also thanks to Wayne for recording the service for us.
Thanks so much to Dr. Marek Knott, for his kindness and understanding over the years. For a long time my mom Rita was so happy to be in her own apartment with the assistance of the Northside Homemakers, who came every day to help her. The past four years became her home at the Northside Community Guest Home. This was her home and she loved each and every staff member as extended family. We appreciate all of you and thank you for your kindness to my mom and to me, Moya, during my visits with her.
A special thanks to Dooley's Funeral Home for their professional and courteous way of helping us at a very sad time. Thanking two special friends of my mom, Shirley Laffin and a fellow War-Bride, Violet Dipersio for their love and everlasting friendship. She loved you dearly.

Sincerely Moya and Ted Marsh, Paul, Adam & Maria, great grandsons Vincent and Ty Nathaniel
