Harry J. “Apps” McGuigan
Peacefully, surrounded by his family at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, November 20, 2017 of Harry "Apps" McGuigan of Charlottetown, age 78 years. Beloved husband of Eileen Cheverie and dear father of Grace (David) Campbell, Michael (Carolyn) Gauthier, Bill (Angelisa) Keaveny, Lorrie Keaveny, Leonard (Lora) Keaveny and stepchildren, Lester (Carol-Anne) Cheverie, Ann (Barry) MacDonald, Millie (Ben) MacWilliams, John Cheverie, David Cheverie-deceased, Mary (Mickey) Rose, Barb (Luc) Poirier, Joey (Nancy) Cheverie, Lisa (Dale) Duguay. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; his brothers and sisters, Bernadine (David) McGregor, Leonard "Barney" (Brenda) McGuigan, Judy (Gerry) Connick, Alan (Charmaine) McGuigan; brothers-in-law Ronald Smith, Paul Gauthier and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Grace (Hughes) McGuigan, sisters Frances Dougan, Gaylene Smith and Eleanor Gauthier. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 10 a.m. Interment later. Visiting hours on Thursday 4 - 7 p.m. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the the Diabetes Association of PEI or the Provincial Palliative Care Centre.
