Passed peacefully away in the loving company of his family, at the Agnes Pratt Home in St John's, on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Born on Red Island, Placentia Bay, March 28, 1926. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Margaret (nee Emberley) of 59 years. Also leaving to mourn his children Cyril Joseph Carroll Jr. (Colleen Power), Terry Carroll (Dela Keats), Anne Marie Carroll (Andres Basanta), Thomas Carroll (Marieke Wevers) and Anita Carroll (Bassem Eid). Cyril also leaves nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly and took great joy in. His love of music, gentle nature, sense of humor, and kind ways will be missed by all those who are part of his large group of extended family and friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, November 24, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. from St. Teresa's Church. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Society.
