The death occurred, peacefully, at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Tuesday November 21, 2017 of Hazel Alice Quigley, Mount Royal, age 90 , dear wife of the late Arthur Scott Quigley. Born on January 14, 1927 in Medford Mass, daughter of the late Morris & Edith (Stewart) Waddell. Dear mother to Donald (Janet), Victoria West; David (Olga), Mount Royal; Alan (Janet), Truro, NS; Philip (Linda), Truro, NS and Mary, Victoria West. Loving Grandmother to 21 Grandchildren and 33 Great Grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Dear sister to Eleanor (Ron) Brown, Dartmouth, N.S; sister in law to Shirley Waddell, Windsor, N.S and she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Hazel was predeceased by her parents, husband Arthur (2013), Daughter Esther (2011), Grandson Jonathan (2004), sister Marjorie Francis and brother Donald Waddell. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O’Leary with visiting hours on Friday from 5-8p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in People’s Cemetery, Mount Royal.
