It is with great sadness that the family of Sarah Belle Hatcher (nee Parsons) announces her peaceful passing at the Senior's Complex in Woody Point, on November 21st, 2017. Born on April 19th, 1919 to George and Julianne Parsons, Sarah was the beloved wife of the late Samuel Hatcher. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Clifton (the late Georgia), of Shelburne, Ontario, David (Anita) of Georgetown, Ontario, Robert (Susanna) of Bracebridge, Ontario, Wayne (Juanita) of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and May (Pat) Power of Texas, USA; her grandchildren Glenda (Jeff) Hatcher, Janet (Richard) Hatcher-Brake, Jackie Johnson (Jeff), Cindy Anderson (Omar), Leeanna Kaulback, Shari Lyons (Peter), Christina Landry (Robert), Michelle Dort (Blair), Gregory Power and Sarah Power (Devin); her great-grandchildren Charla Brake, Jade Hillier, Abbey Johnson, Halley Johnson, Maggey Johnson, David Anderson, Kennedy Anderson, Julianna Kaulback, Tristan Lyons, Brenna Lyons, Kiera Lyons, Gracie Landry and Amy Landry; her sister Ethel Deering of Freshwater Carbonear also a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and caregivers. She was predeceased by her sons Donald and Owen; daughter Diantha; grandson Donald Power; brothers Jim and Leonard and her sister Nellie Oates. Visitation will take place at the Anglican Church of the Epiphany, Woody Point on Friday, Nov 24th, 2017 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Saturday, November 25th, 2017 from 1-2 pm from where the funeral service will be held at 2 pm from the Anglican Church of the Epiphany, Woody Point, with Rev. Kay Short officiating. Interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Anglican Church of the Epiphany, Woody Point or a charity of one's choice.
