J. Doreen (nee MacKay) MacFarlane
The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, November 23, 2017 of J. Doreen MacFarlane (nee MacKay) of Charlottetown, age 90. Dearly loved mother of John and Linda MacFarlane, step-grandmother to Taylor, Jesse and Jordan and step-great-grandmother to Bailey, Jaylin and Tristen. Predeceased by parents John B. and Gwendolyn MacKay and siblings Jim (Muriel), Stuart, Morgan (Minnie), Gwen Court, niece Karen (Wayne) Matheson and John’s father, Ralph MacFarlane. Survived by nieces and nephews Sandra, Ronnie, Gary, Morgan, Cass, Steve, Jim, George, John, Greg, Sheryl, Paula and their families. She is also survived by in-laws Velma MacKay and Jack Court. Great thanks to her special friends who made her life so full of joy with jigsaw puzzles, laughter, treats, visits, phone calls and love. You know who you are! Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
