Angela Smith

It is with unbearable sadness that I announce the passing of my beautiful wife Angela. Angela was our everything and her passing leaves her family with an emptiness that is indescribable. Angela’s passion was her sons Bryce and Jared, family, friends, employees and customers. Angela was in business with her husband Rick and they are owners of the Canadian Tire in Kingston. Angela made friends easy, and her caring and remarkable attitude resonated in success whenever and wherever her families journey took them. Angela’s love of the Lake in Fort Frances, her oceanfront home off the Grand Banks of Newfoundland, or acres of countryside outside of Nipigon, held only the dearest of memories during her Canadian Tire Journey with her family. Angela and her family were blessed with an opportunity to live and travel throughout New Brunswick, Ontario and the Maritime provinces. Angela had a remarkable talent for crafts, sewing, painting, scrapbooking and quilting, and her homes were always filled with her personal treasures. The last number of years afforded Angela the opportunity to travel and hike throughout the Whistler, Banff and Lake Louise area with very special girlfriends Terri, Marie and Mary. Angela loved the Islands of the Caribbean and the special vacations shared with special friends Brad and Nancy. While Angela’s short hard fought battle with brain cancer was difficult, her outlook on life and her love story will be passed down through her children and one day their children. Angela is survived by her husband of 34 years Rick, sons Bryce and Jared, her parents Barb and the late Murray Yake, her brother Albert and wife Cathy and sister Jennifer Taylor, her mother-in-law Bonnie Smith and the late Ron Smith and sister in law Donna Whitcroft and brother in law Rob Smith and wife Lisa. As well, her many Aunts and Uncles, Nephews and Cousins she so dearly loved. Special thanks to her family Doctor Anne Gaskin and her remarkable assistant Linda.
Please join the family for visitation at the H. A, Kebbel Funeral Home, 119 Talbot Street East, Aylmer on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm where the celebration of her remarkable life will be held at 2 pm on Thursday Nov 30. Please make any donations on Angie’s behalf to Jumpstart. Kebbelfuneralhome.com
