Mary Ellen Saccary

We, the family of Mary Ellen Saccary, regret to announce the sudden passing of our mother on November 24, 2017 after a brief illness.
Mary was born February 14, 1950 to the late Mary Jane (Spencer) and Alfonse Saccary.
She is survived by her daughters, Jeanette and Donnie, Donna and Jimmy, Deborah and Kevin, all of Glace Bay, and a son who lived in Ontario for the last 22 years, Blaine and Christine. She will be greatly missed by her nine grandchildren, who were her life, Kaleigh, Chantel, Kerri, Brianna, Amber, Brandon, Dylan, William and Journey, and a very dear friend, Peggy Gouthro.
Also survived by brothers, Alex Roberts and Flo, Miles Saccary; sisters, Bea Mathews and Willena Arsenault, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Alfred Roberts, Fred Roberts, Kay Metcalfe, Theresa Rowe, Irene Lynk and Jake Saccary.
We would like to thank Homecare and the VON for the special care given over the last year especially Peggy Metcalfe and also the doctors and nurses of the regional hospital (RN Wayne).
Staying with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private ceremony with the immediate family in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Bridgeport will take place. A celebration of her life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, November 30, 2017 at her residence 30 Wilson’s Lane in Dominion.
