It is with great sadness that the family of the late Elizabeth Crocker announce her passing on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 93 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Roderick (Dawn), Angela Gilley (Morris), John (Kathy), Audrey Wells (Gary), and Glenn (Sherri); grandchildren: Mark, Joel, Rachel, Cherie, Caleb, Hannah, Joseph, Debbie, Kevin, Adam, Christopher, Samantha, Ashley, Jodie, John and Ann; 14 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law: Mairi; sisters: Donna (Tom), and Bonnie; brothers: Gerald (Bertha), Warwick (Wilma), and Bruce (Alfreda); sisters-in-law: Gertie, and Pauline; brother-in-law Hiram and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Predeceased by her husband Ellis Crocker, daughter Jane, son James, parents William and Ida Payne, daughter-in-law Judie, siblings Clarson, Maxine (Cecil), Alton, Clyde (Dorothy), Bride (Gordon), Greta (John), and Patsy. Special thanks to staff and residents of Mountain View Estates for your care and friendship of our mother over the past 2 years and to the staff of 3B at Western Memorial Regional Hospital for your loving care of our mother over the past 2 1/2 months. The family will be receiving friends from Fillatre's Funeral Home 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Sunday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. As per her request Cremation will take place following visitation. Funeral service will take place from All Saints Anglican Church, Clarence Street on Tuesday, December 5th at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tanya white officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit.
