It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the passing of our beloved mother and step-mother on Dec. 2, 2017 at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: her beloved husband Bill of 27 years; her children, sons: Keith (Susan) of Saskatoon, Ken (Princealean) of Corner Brook NL, Kerry (Loraine) of Ontario, Kirk (Karen) of Ontario, and daughter Karen (Tom) of St. John's NL; step-sons: Bill (Lorraine) of Ontario, Walter, David, Wayne, Paul (Marion); step-daughters: Mary (Will) Pynn, Dianne Hynes, Susane (Darrell) Ralph, Donna (Campbell) Leonard, Julia (Dennis) Slavin; brothers: Ron (Karen) MacPherson, Art (Betty) MacPherson, Bob (Sheila); sisters: Alda Swain, Jessie Williams, Lestra (John); 21 step-grandchildren, 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Eileen is predeceased by her parents William & Edna MacPherson, sister Anna Macdonald, and 2 step-sons: Clyde & Robert Hynes. At Eileen's request, cremation has taken place. Friends and family may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Wednesday Dec. 6, 2017 from the hours of 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will take place Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017 from the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30am with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Crohn's Foundation.
