LYONS, Jessie - Jessie Lyons (née MacMillan), formerly of Alexandria and Grant's Corners, Ontario passed away peacefully at St. Patrick's Home in Ottawa on Thursday, November 30, 2017 in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Herbert Grant Lyons. Loving mother of Ann Deveen (Albert), Allan, Jack and Rosemary Lyons-Hutter (Bruno). Dear sister of Rachel Conway. Predeceased by her parents Christine and Donald Myles "Dan" MacMillan, and by one infant daughter Mary. She is survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews. When she lived near Cornwall, Jessie had been actively involved as a leader with the 4-H Club of Cornwall, Cornwall Centre Women's Institute and Blessed Sacrament Parish, Cornwall Ontario. A special thank you to those staff members who took such good care of Jessie while she was a resident at St. Pat's. A Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated at St. Finnan's Cathedral, Alexandria on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
