Louis M. O’Toole

It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Louis Michael O’Toole, age 60, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, on Friday, December 1, 2017.
Louie was born in North Sydney, March 25, 1957, he was a son of Ann (Wall) (O’Toole) Musgrave of North Sydney and the late Francis O’Toole.
Louie was a member of the Labourers Union Local # 92 in Alberta. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved spending time with his mother, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews, and his many friends.
Surviving, besides his mother, are his stepdaughter, Magdaline Walsh; he was a beloved brother to Edward (Joanne) O’Toole, Marlene (Wayne) Wallace, Kevin (Gary) O’Toole, Theresa O’Toole, Elizabeth (Tim) Parsons and Patty (Tina) O’Toole; a number of nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Keith Miles and Pat MacLeod, also his special lifelong friend, Danny.
Louie was predeceased by his father, Francis O’Toole; his sisters, Jacinta Miles and Linda MacLeod; brothers, Raymond and Brian O’Toole, and by the love of his life, Laurnice Walsh.
Visitation for Louie will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in the W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Church with Rev. Patrick O’Neill officiating. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery at a later date.
