Passed peacefully away at Dr. Albert O’Mahony Manor, Clarenville on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, Irene Jane Green of Burgoynes Cove, aged 76 years. Predeceased by her parents Mark and Mahala Clarke; brothers Jack and Alexander; sister Ruby Penny and daughter Colette Carberry. Left with fond and loving memories her husband Clarence of 60 years; daughters Donna Batstone (Roy), Corner Brook, Meta Power (James), Corner Brook, Annette Penny (Gerald), St. John’s, Lillian Noble Pitts (Bill), Digby, NS and Melissa Green (Wally), Brampton, ON; sons Sterling (Trudy), St. John’s and Tony (Brenda), Edmonton, AB; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Norma Hookey (Horace), Port Rexton, Charlotte Collins (Dave), Champneys, Olive Coish (Lloyd), Pasadena, Winnifred Hookey (Randy), Calgary, AB and Hazel Goldsworthy (Gary), Calgary, AB; brothers Don Clarke (Dora), Burgoyne’s Cove, Harold Clarke (Nadine), Edmonton, AB, Hughie Clarke (Linda), USA, Sterling Clarke, Grand Bank and Mark Clarke (Stephanie), Welland, ON; and a large circle of family and friends. Rested at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville. Funeral service took place on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville with cremation to follow.
