WILSON, RUBY - 1932 - 2011 - Ruby Wilson (Dutcher) of Riverview passed away peacefully at Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Center with her family by her side on Sunday, May 1st, 2011. Born in Loggieville, N.B., on June 14, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Laura (MacNaughton) Dutcher. Ruby was seamstress for T.Eaton Co. for many years, and made draperies for many local retailers. Mom was the first female instructor to ever work in maximum security for Dorchester Penitentiary and enjoyed her time there very much. Ruby is survived by her children Sharon Cameron of Shediac, Robert Wilson (Beatrice) of Pineglen, Stephen Wilson of Riverview, Susan Douthwright (Donald) of Colpitts Settlement, Timothy Wilson (Sylvia) of Riverview, brother, Kenneth Dutcher (Ella) of Fredericton. Nan has 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her former husband Altie Wilson, son, Craig Wilson and his wife Mary, sister Dorothy Ross, brothers, Eldon and Allan Dutcher.
The memorial service will held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 5th, at Fair Haven Funeral Home, followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room where the family will be present. There will be no visitation at her request. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. The family would like to send special thanks to the wonderful nurses of 4C unit of the Dr. G.L. Dumont Hospital.
