THOMAS, Marlene Teresa (Lafave) – At the Cornwall Community Hospital on Monday December 11, 2017. She was 72. She leaves he loving husband of 54 years, Peter David Thomas. Dear mother of Deborah Lynn Thomas and Shawn Michael Thomas (Louise). Sadly missed by 2 grandchildren, Samuel and Ella Thomas. Survived by 2 brothers, Earl Lafave (Mary) John Lafave and 2 sisters, Audrey Russell (Bill) and Joanne Shorey (Phil). Predeceased by her parents, Earl and Susan (Sauve) Lafave and one brother Bob Lafave. Friends and family will be received at the M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt Street (across from city hall) Cornwall on Thursday from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm and on Friday from 9:30 – 10:45am. Funeral Liturgy, Friday, December 15, 2017 in the chapel of the funeral home at 11am. Rite of Committal St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, at a later date.
