It is with great sadness that the families of Barbara Ann Hynes nee Walsh announce her passing at the Rufus Gunichard Health Centre, in Port Saunders, NL, on Sunday, December 17th, 2017, in her 68th year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her sons; Brent Walsh (Cathy), Jamie Caines (Dawn), and Jamie Hynes, her daughters: Vanessa Reid (Gordon), and Amanda LeRoy (Rob), her grandchildren; Paige and Rachael Walsh, Taylor and Grayson Reid, Chole LeRoy, Sarah and Charlotte Hynes, Rilynn and Lukas Dewit, her only living brother; Mike Walsh (Mildred) whom she loved dearly. Her sisters; Gertrude Parsons, Sarah Carew, Mary Schutlz, Linda Hutchings (Colin), Marie Hynes (Wayne), and Patsy Decker, her sisters and brothers-in-law; Patricia Walsh, and Rosemarie Walsh, Helen Brennan, Kevin Hynes, Marie Hynes, Sylvia Hynes, Henry Hynes (Meg), Gerard (Helen), Jackie, Matthew (Bonna), Brendan (Christine), Conrad (Hazel), Micheal (Phyllis), and Allan. Barbara was predeceased by her husband Neil Hynes (July 2014), her parents: Richard and Annie Walsh, her parents-in-law: Richard and Mary Hynes, her sister Iona, brothers: Jerome (Daisy), Pat, and John, her sisters and brothers-in-law: Geraldine Hynes, Cathy Hynes, and Marion Hynes, Vince Hynes, Louis Hynes, Mark Hynes, and Freddy Hynes. Barbara also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, and all of her co-workers at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt., NL. In lieu of flowers donations made to the Julia Ann Walsh Heritage Centre would be gratefully appreciated by the family. The family will be receiving family and friends at the Holy Spirit Parish, in Norris Pt., NL, on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017, from the hours of 10 am - 1:00 pm, where also the Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place form on Wednesday December 20th, 2017 at 2:00 pm, with Father Gabriel officiating with keeping with Barbara’s wishes cremation to follow with the Inurnment to follow at later date.
