The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her family, at Andrews of Summerside, P.E., on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, of Ina (Matheson) MacKinnon, aged 97 years. Born in Swift Currant, SK, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Ella (Bateman) Matheson. Survived by her daughters Ruth (Bruce) Stewart, Jean (Larry) LaCroix, Shirley (Andrew) Bryce, Carolyn (Michael) Rempel and Angela MacKinnon; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters Janet Whitrow, Beatrice Knorr, Maxine James and Liz Prosche. Predeceased by her husband Dr. Stuart MacKinnon and brothers Harry, Norman, Howard, Richard, Roy and Larry. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, P.E. Forwarded to the South Calgary Funeral Centre, Calgary, AB. Funeral to take place at the Bow Valley Christian Church, Calgary, on Saturday, January 20, 2018.
