It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ralph Roy Anderson announce his passing on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 66 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his only daughter Jillian Anderson; brothers and sister: Scott Anderson (Daphne Nolan-Anderson), Kirk Anderson Jr. (Jennifer Anderson) and Nancy Anderson (Doug Forbes); longtime partner Leah Lawlor; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Capt. S. Kirk and Frances “Alfreda” Anderson. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from Curling Memorial United Church, Curling Street with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
